BOOM Concepts creates environments and experiences that make space for  intentional exchange of learning between collaborators, participants, and organizers. Artists Taking Care of Artists combines the concepts of active neighboring and peer to peer mentorships to provide an arts and culture based field building program for practitioners across career stages.

The Creative Audits and Copyediting session primarily provides Q&A space alongside basic field connections with lead organizations, grant writers, and program officers representing local and national philanthropic partners. During each session, artists will work on their CVs, dedicating time to updating and organizing their professional experience, connect with program officers about existing organization grant opportunities and review written grant progression. Featured speakers will have 15 (or less) to speak about their services, support opportunities, and more.

Speakers include:

Pittsburgh Foundation – https://pittsburghfoundation.org/

Ascender – https://ascenderpgh.com/

Radiant Hall – https://www.radianthall.org/

The session will be held in January 23rd, 2025 at Bloomfield Garfield Corporation at 5:00PM. The session will be available for streaming for accepted participants who cannot attend. Following the workshop, participants will be able to schedule an “Office Hour” session with BOOM Concepts or participating speakers.
