BOOM Concepts is pleased to announce Stoop Games @ The Rotunda, a free, intergenerational community series that transforms the front steps and portico of The Rotunda into a vibrant gathering space for play, music, and cultural exchange. The three-part series will take place on July 26, August 30, and September 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM–4:00 PM at The Rotunda, 333 N. Negley Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA.
As BOOM Concepts prepares to establish its permanent home at The Rotunda, Stoop Games introduces the historic site to neighbors through a welcoming mix of creative activities, games, and community-centered programming. Located at a busy intersection that serves as a public transit stop and pedestrian corridor, The Rotunda offers a unique opportunity to bring together families, youth, commuters, and longtime residents in a shared public space. Each event will
feature a rotating mix of activities including live DJs, karaoke, open mic moments, pop-up basketball, jump rope, sidewalk chalk, bubble machines, group games, and other family-friendly experiences. Designed to be accessible and low-barrier, Stoop Games encourages participants of all ages to gather, play, and build new connections.
In addition to providing free programming for residents, the series creates paid opportunities for local artists, musicians, DJs, and creatives while supporting BOOM Concepts’ ongoing work around community engagement, cultural production, and creative placemaking. Through music, play, and collective participation, Stoop Games aims to strengthen relationships between neighbors, encourage intergenerational exchange, and demonstrate how public spaces can be activated through creativity and shared experiences.
