BOOM Concepts, in partnership with Greenwood Plan, proudly presents Processions, Parties & Parades, a group exhibition celebrating Black-led rituals, ceremonies, and communal joy across generations and geographies.
The exhibition opens Saturday, August 2 from 1 PM to 4 PM at Emerald City (213 Smithfield Street) during the Greenwood Plan Summer Block Party and runs through October 16, 2025.
Drawing inspiration from the spaces where Black celebration thrives—block parties, juke joints, birthday gatherings, festivals, second lines, remixed cityscapes, and more—Processions, Parties & Parades captures the powerful presence of people who bring neighborhoods to life through movement, memory, and meaning-making.
