For the 2026-2027 partnership the organizations have selected . Korey Edmonson, an (artist, instructor, and muralist) and Raymont Youngblood, (digital freelance illustrator and comic producer) Both artists will receive a six month fully subsidized studio space in the recently opened Radiant Hall Downtown Pittsburgh location. The selected artists will also have full access to the roster of BOOM Universe partners organizations to develop their holistic practice. As quoted by J Thomas Agnew, co-owner of BOOM Concept, “This is an opportunity for us to refine the artist’s experience during the residency period and be more intentional in how artists access the creative resources we provide. It’s our responsibility to ensure artists get the most out of their encounters with both of our organizations who take artist growth and development very seriously.”
